Drier air arrives for Clearwater next week
A cold front will push out humidity and reduce rain chances after a wet stretch.

Residents of Clearwater can expect less rain and lower humidity starting next week. A shift in the weather pattern will bring drier air to the Bay Area after several days of heavy precipitation.
A cold front is moving through the region this weekend. This system will push out the wet air and set the stage for a drier start to the following week. Meteorologist Dave Osterberg notes that rain chances will trend downward over the next several days.
The National Hurricane Center is currently monitoring an area of interest off the East Coast. The Atlantic hurricane season is still active, but this specific disturbance is not expected to threaten the Bay Area.
Even if the off-coast system develops into a tropical storm, it is forecast to move out to sea. Local forecasts from the National Hurricane Center indicate the disturbance poses no immediate risk to Florida residents.
The change in conditions follows a waterlogged period across the region. The incoming drier air should provide relief for those dealing with the recent wet weather.
