Wine on Wheels shared two Halloween-themed cocktail recipes for local event planners on Wednesday.
The Clearwater-based business provides custom pop-up bars, staffed bartenders, and branded beverages for corporate and private gatherings. The company recently released two signature drinks designed for spooky season parties.
The first recipe is titled "Beetlejuice..Beetlejuice..don't say it!!" The drink combines 1.5 ounces of vodka, 1.5 ounces of sour apple schnapps, 0.5 ounces of elderflower liqueur, and 2 ounces of sour mix. The bartender shakes these ingredients with ice for at least 30 seconds. The mixture is then strained into a martini glass. A bar spoon of creme de violette is poured down the inside of the glass to sink to the bottom. The drink is finished with a rock candy lollipops garnish.
The second option is a "Sandworn Cider." This beverage features 1.5 ounces of vodka, 1.5 ounces of pumpkin syrup, 3 ounces of apple cider, and 0.5 ounces of lemon juice. These components are shaken with ice for a minimum of 30 seconds. The strained liquid is poured over a cocktail cup full of ice. Ginger beer is added as a top layer. Dehydrated apple slices serve as the garnish.
