Chipotle opens six drive-thru locations across Tampa Bay

Chipotle Mexican Grill has expanded its footprint in the region with six new drive-thru restaurants.

The chain has opened four locations since August. Two additional sites are scheduled to open before the year ends. Each restaurant features a Chipotlane, a drive-thru lane for customers who place orders online or through the app.

The first location opened in Hudson at 8784 State Road 52 on August 3. A second location opened in Clearwater at 3335 Ulmerton Road on August 5. The third site opened in Spring Hill at 4685 Commercial Way on September 8. The fourth location opened in Lutz at 22820 State Road 54 on October 20.

A fifth location will open in Apollo Beach at 5571 U.S. 41 North on Tuesday, October 27. The sixth and final location is set to open in Wesley Chapel at 32157 Mercantile Drive in November. All six restaurants operate on a schedule of 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Each new restaurant hires approximately 30 workers. The company states that benefits include an annual crew bonus and a debt-free college degree program. The benefits also cover mental health care for employees and their families. Applicants can apply at chipotle.com/careers.

Servpro Team George will hold its third annual Toy Express in Port Richey on Thursday, December 17. The event is held at the company's headquarters. The company is partnering with the First Responders Children’s Foundation, with support from the Pasco Sheriff’s Office. Last year’s event drew 496 children, many from families recovering from the 2024 hurricanes. This year, the company is extending invitations to other local groups that serve children and families, in addition to Chasco K-8 Community School. Nora George, president of Servpro Team George, said, “We live here, we work here, and we have built our business here.”
