NFL Books Wednesday Game Ahead of Thanksgiving Tripleheader

The NFL will stage three games on Thursday, November 26, 2026, beginning with the Chicago Bears at the Detroit Lions at 1 p.m. ET on CBS. The Philadelphia Eagles visit the Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX, and the Kansas City Chiefs face the Buffalo Bills at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC. All three kickoffs are Eastern Time.

The league has also scheduled a game on Wednesday, November 25, when the Green Bay Packers visit the Los Angeles Rams at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix. The Denver Broncos play at the Pittsburgh Steelers on Black Friday, November 27, at 3 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime Video. That gives fans five games across three consecutive days.

Detroit will host its 86th Thanksgiving game at Ford Field. The Lions have appeared on the holiday every year since 1934, except during World War II. The Bears and Lions both compete in the NFC North. Detroit entered late October at 4-2, while Chicago stood at 5-2. The Lions beat Green Bay 20-17 on October 25.

CBS will carry the Bears-Lions game nationally, with streaming on Paramount+. The Eagles-Cowboys game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, will air on FOX, with streaming through FOX One and a 4K stream on Tubi. The Chiefs-Bills game at Highmark Stadium will broadcast on NBC, with streaming on Peacock.

Dallas has hosted Thanksgiving games every year since 1966, aside from 1975 and 1977. The Cowboys and Eagles have met twice previously on the holiday, with Philadelphia winning 27-0 in 1989 and 33-10 in 2014. Dallas defeated Philadelphia 38-21 on October 26. Detroit first hosted a Thanksgiving game in 1934 after team owner George A. Richards arranged a national radio broadcast. Dallas followed in 1966 under general manager Tex Schramm. The NFL added a third Thanksgiving game in 2006.

The Chiefs-Bills matchup pairs Patrick Mahomes against Josh Allen. The teams met in the 2021 divisional playoff, which Kansas City won 42-36 in overtime. Kansas City lost to Dallas 31-28 in the 2025 Thanksgiving game, and Detroit fell to Green Bay 31-24 that same day. Cincinnati beat Baltimore 32-14 in the third 2025 holiday game.

Viewers can watch all three Thursday games without a cable subscription through Paramount+, FOX One, Tubi or Peacock. Antenna users can receive CBS, FOX and NBC over the air. NFL+ provides live local and national games on supported mobile devices, with restrictions on some broadcasts.

The NFL may adjust scheduling or broadcast details before November 26. The official NFL Week 12 listings carry the confirmed matchups and kickoff times.
